The Communications Department serves as the voice of Fredericksburg City Public Schools, connecting our schools, families, staff, and community through clear, timely, and engaging information. We are committed to ensuring that every stakeholder knows what’s happening in our division, understands our goals, and can celebrate the achievements of our students and staff.
We manage the division’s websites, social media channels, newsletters, press releases, and multimedia projects, as well as internal communications that keep our team informed and connected. We also collaborate closely with schools and departments to share important announcements, highlight student and staff successes, and promote events that bring our community together.
Our work goes beyond sharing news — it’s about building trust, fostering transparency, and showcasing the incredible work happening in every classroom. Whether we’re telling a student’s story, promoting new programs, or providing updates during emergencies, our goal is to keep the main thing the main thing: supporting the success and wellbeing of every child in Fredericksburg City Public Schools.
