📌LEARNING LANE CLOSURE UPDATE 🚧Learning Lane is closing for emergency stormwater pipe repairs effective August 16, 2024. The detour is southbound Patriot Highway (US 1) to Harrison Road, left on Lafayette Boulevard, to left on Hotchkiss Street, right on Rose Avenue, left to Pender Street to Learning Lane. 🚎Lafayette Elementary and Walker-Grant Middle School parents, staff and school buses are encouraged to travel Lafayette Boulevard to Pender Street when arriving. Drivers should exit the schools by traveling on Pender Street to Rose Avenue to Hotchkiss Street at the traffic light. 🚘The public is asked to avoid Lafayette Boulevard and travel on US Route 1 until October 2024 due to the anticipated detour-related traffic congestion. Drivers will experience heavier traffic on Lafayette Boulevard during peak school arrival and dismissal times of 7:00am-9:00am and 2:00pm-4:00pm.
