The Virginia Department of Education is still accepting applications from parents for tutoring microgrants for their children through Governor Glenn Youngkin’s K-12 Learning Acceleration Grants program.
Virginia Learning Acceleration Grants were established by the Governor to provide families with funds to support their child’s learning as we work to address pandemic learning loss. Some students have the potential to be a recipient of a $3,000 Virginia Learning Acceleration Grant. The $3,000 can be used for qualifying educational services such as tutoring and assistive technology.
It is important that you apply for the grant as soon as possible. The grant, once approved, is available for use until May 30, 2024. All grant funds must be spent by May 30, 2024.
