Assessment

Assessments are included in the teaching and learning process in Fredericksburg City Public Schools. Whether the tests are formative, summative, standardized, performance based, state mandated or teacher choice, each one has a purpose for providing information about specific learning targets and to further student performance. The department of assessment and accountability ensures full compliance with federal, state and local testing expectations while providing necessary feedback for the purpose of the test.
