Below are some archived pieces of documentation for events that FCPS held for military families, or recognition events that we celebrated (Purple Up! Day).

2022 Military Family Night

FCPS invited all our military families to join us for an opportunity to meet fellow military families, talk with division staff, and receive more information on resources specific to supporting military families. The event took place Wednesday, April 27 at Lafayette Elementary. To view the flyer made for this event, click the button below.

2022 Month of the Military Child

FCPS recognized Month of the Military Child during April 2022, to pay tribute to the military families and their children for their sacrifices made and for their commitment and courage. There are a variety of ways we celebrated this, including Purple Up! Day, and some documentation is available below regarding 2022's recognition specifically.

2022 Military Spirit Week
